As per the new pattern, a student would be assessed in two areas: Scholastic and Co- Scholastic. The assessment of the scholastic areas is divided in two terms and two types of tests would be conducted to assess the academic subjects
In the primary classes the formative tests will be in the form of Dictation, Oral Test, Class Test, Homework, Class Work, Assignments and Projects, Memory Test, Story Telling, Quiz, Elocution or any other tool which is found suitable by the teacher.
The summative assessment will test the student internally. The Summative assessment will be in the form of a pen-paper test conducted by the school. It will be conducted at the end of each term twice a year.

The Board Examination for 80 marks in each subject will cover 100% syllabus of only Class 10. The examination paper will be designed for a 3 hours duration. Marks and Grades both will be awarded in each scholastic subject and a 9-point grading system, as followed by the Board in Class XII will be applicable.
